Who are they?

Tower are a New Zealand owned and operated insurance company specialising in home, contents, business, travel and fire insurances, as well as a range of item specific insurance packages.

They were originally part of the Government life insurance office which was established in 1869, and in 1990 began operating as a mutual association. Tower have branches throughout all of New Zealand and, as a mutual association, their ownership lies with their policyholders.

What do they offer?

Tower offer a ranges of insurance policies and offer multi-policy discounts.

Their car insurance policies include both commercial and private motor vehicle insurances and range from third party to full cover.

They also offer the option of roadside assistance.

Tower's home and contents policies range from entry level renters cover to full cover for home and contents and they also offer a variety of business and travel insurance packages.

Specific item insurances include high cost items such as boats, motorbike and caravans.
